On behalf of the IPA committee, it is with great delight that I can announce the leading pool table cloth manufacturer Milliken via their brand Strachan have agreed a sponsorship deal to support the 2012 IPA Tour.

The 2012 tour will be played on 8-ball’s premium pool tables ‘Supreme’ and accompanied by Aramith balls.

Our hotel sponsorship with the Hilton Worldwide chain has allowed us to supply our members with a superior standard of accommodation and facilities whilst enjoying significantly reduced room rates. We appreciate that in previous seasons there has been no requirement for hotel residency, but in order to attain financial sponsorship, boost prize funds and to provide participants with such excellent facilities including the use of each hotels suite for our tournament arena, we have had to enforce this for 2012. For those participants living within a 10 mile radius of any one property, we may be able to look at amending this once the minimum number of rooms has been achieved.

The room rate of £42 per person for twin/double share or single room at £58 per night includes breakfast and the facility of complimentary parking at all properties. The only exception to this being the Hilton Bradford as this hotel does not have its own car park, although we have made arrangements with the hotel to provide a heavily reduced 24hr rate at a near car park at just £3.20.
Hotel reservations will be made directly with each hotel via our online connection to Hilton Worldwide.

We again would like to confirm that we are not featuring any three night events, or Bank Holiday weekend events. We’ve even catered around Fathers Day!

Our new format for each event will be released on Saturday 22nd October and will include double elimination style, amateur only and professional player events. The format will be totally different to any previously experienced by our members and is aimed at providing more opportunity for actually playing pool than sitting around waiting.

Additionally, quick fire flyers will be included into the schedule for each event (time permitting).
